Oh Tristan, "you don't need to talk like that! I'm not an idiot, miss!" he said, offended. "I was just...surprised, is all...tat you're talking to me." He's such a weird boy at times, "it hurts all over," he said, wincing, and then grinned widely. "It's great!" I feel bad for Joe that poor girl, "tears filled my eyes, threatening to fall. "So you never wanted to be with me? Why did you make me believe that you cared?" She knows how to play Tristan's game, "you wanted me to leave you alone, didn't yo?" I shouted at him. "So I'm leaving you alone. I'm moving on, like you wanted me to! And I'm moving out! You don't need to ever talk to me again! I hope you have a nice life!" I stormed out of the room with my backpack clutched in my hands, leaving an awestruck Tristan behind." And at first I thought it backfired, "stop cursing, Joe," he said quietly, in a menacing whisper. It wasn't a request. "You know how much it upsets me," he growled." But then they get a little naughty and I have to say I really liked that, "I traced my fingertips softly over his stomach. His breathing changed when I started playing with the small, soft trail of dark hair that started right below his belly button. "You keep touching me like that, Joe Gray, and I won't be held responsible for my actions." I loved reading this book and can't wait for the next one in the series.
