I really loved this book and I can't wait to see more of the characters in the next installment. Luke woo-baby like to chain him to the bed with all his sexiness, "call me Luke. Not officer, and definitely not sir. Too formal." Emma she has an affect on our boy, "Emma laughed, and Luke felt the twist of that sweet laugh all the way down to his balls." Emma can hold her own, "she crossed her arms, only this time it was an irritation, not defensiveness. "I don't need a pity date, Luke." S***. Foot-in-mouth struck again. "I don't pity you. I like you." Luke can be affectionate with the right girl of course and Emma happens to be that girl, "in an instant, he'd jerked her against him. "If we weren't standing in front of the Miller's house right now, both of us covered in cow - whatever - I'd show you exactly what I could do with handcuffs." It's hard for Luke to say no to Emma but he gives good reasons as to why she really shouldn't toy with him, "one, I'm gonna get hard, and two, we're never going to go water-skiing today." There are times when Luke is all primal, "yeah, I need to be fed, too, Emma. But it's not soup I want right now." I really do love this author's style of writing.
