The Louisiana Liaisons Series by Lynda Chance

Richard he comes off a bit strong willed, "so, some married guy is hitting up on your friend tonight? She stopped and listened. "I'm not married, sweetheart. Are you married?" He goes right in for the kill. He's also assertive, "okay, sweetheart. So, I think we've established a couple of things here. Neither one of us is married. And you're not going to let me so you right here, right now." He's also bossy, "pack a toothbrush and an extra pair of panties. You're spending the night with me, and you're going to need them." He's also possessive, "yes, you do. You're mine. You belong to me. Mine." These are the traits in men that I like Lynda to write about.

Jake is all action, "Well, Ms. Sanford, it's like this. Your bag is packed. It's Friday night and your daughter is away for the weekend. And you don't have a husband. You can forget your girlfriend tonight, you're coming to my house." Yep all take charge action. He's also unfiltered, "too fast? Are you effing kidding me?" She cringed at his crudity. "You're had my guts ties up for ten weeks. You're lucky you're not naked right now. I don't even remember what a hot shower feels like anymore. All I get are cold ones. Because of you. I thought that I would never get to have you. And now I find out you don't have a Goddamned husband."

Robert he's kind of an a**, "bulls***. I saw you. I don't need your help getting the business. You just do your work and keep those sweet little smiles to yourself." He's also a jealous sort, "who the eff did you shave for?" His body lowered to hers and he took, a handful of her soft blonde hair. "If you have any sense you'll tell me it was for me." I love Lynda's books there's always male characters that you love to hate.
