Ruby is not one to sugarcoat s***, "my friend Chaney said your full name is Cole Effing Stuart. Do you go by that all the time, or only when you're tossing girls out to walk home alone after midnight?" Ruby can be a playful person, "I patted him on the cheek. "I'm a girl, Cole. We overthink everything." Cole he's a character in himself, "where I come from, only a real twally doesn't make sure his girl gets home safe." He's also cocky, "since there seems to be some things about me that please you, hen, how about you let me prove those ratings false." I happen to like this book a lot more than the first book in the series.
