Duece and Ripper are complete opposites, and even though I loved Undeniable, I loved this one more. Ripper was just OMG you know? "What the eff are you doin' out here instead of in there with all your..." He trailed off as he surveyed the gym." ...with all those stupid-looking effs," he finished, making a disgusted face. "Never mind. I know exactly why you don't wanna be here." Right then and there I fell in love with him while it took Duece awhile to gain my love. This review isn't going to be a competition between the two bada**es but instead of all the ways I love Ripper because ladies, let me tell you what I love that man to death. He's totally honest, "no, baby, I'm not. I'm tryin' to figure out whether I'm gonna slap some sense into you or eff the s*** outta you." He tells Danny the expectations he has for if they take their relationship further (you know some people might think this trait isn't a valuable one but it really is don't want to go into something totally blindsided.) "We do this," he growled softly. "Means you're in my bed and no one else's, yeah?" And most importantly I love how he and Danny interact when they're together:
"No underwear," he muttered. "Why the eff ain't you wearin' underwear?"
"Um, hello," I said. "People are already staring at the giant baby growing inside of me. I don't need the added embarrassment of underwear lines too."
Ripper blinked. "Are you effin' serious? You're worried about underwear lines?"
See total goofballs when together and happy. I have waited so long to read this book and it's sad that it was devoured like in an hour.
