I knew I loved Emily right off when the girl talked to Jake while the boy was unconscious, "I'll say it again, what were you thinking? Don't you realize how much pain you've cause your family?" I sighed. "okay, maybe that's not fair. Maybe you had a reason. Just don't do something that dumb again. You won't get lucky twice." Emily also is a funny girl and she balances Jake which I think is good. "Hold your horses there, stud. I think you have more important things to worry about than lining up a date." Jake is cocky which I love, "I thought we just established we both like each other. We kissed - twice. Are you really doubting whether I'm getting a second date?" Then there is a sweet side to Jake which I absolutely adore, "I know I haven't earned it yet, but one day I'm going to earn your forever, and Noah's too. I'm going to be the man by your side through everything, the one you come home to, the one you wake up with for the rest of your life." Jake and Emily were made for each other, they come along at the right moment and save one another and that is what I love most about the bookie, about one person who gets a second chance, and another who gets a first chance.
