From page one it's action, it seems there is a never dull moment in this book which I love! There's a lot of people who don't like change and are set in their ways and anyone who is different is a demon. I feel bad for Skylar, not knowing what is happening to he, for a fifteen year year old girl it must be scary. The preacher though was really upsetting to me, how can he say things like that to people, "All I need are my two eyes. I got one demon over there," he said, pointing at Lyara's motionless body. "and I got you right here. Everyone and God has seen what you can do, what you are. The time for words is over." Surprisingly I really did like reading this book, honestly it's not something I would have picked out for myself to read, but I'm really glad I had the opportunity to do so.
