The Acropolis and The Labyrinth by R.K. Ryals

I fell in love with both Will and Conor right off, the two cousins have playfulness whenever they are around each other and I really liked that:
                                               "Emma Chase?"
                                               Will Grunts
                                               "No, the Pope, you imbecile."
There's just something about Conor and how he speaks that you can't help but love, "Sweetheart, at this rate, we are both going to be sore as hell tomorrow." The book goes from Conor's point of view to Emma's which I loved! Emma I think makes Conor see things differently, I think it's because of two things; one, he notices that she's different from what everyone is making her out to be, and two the boy is obviously falling in love with her. "You and me, right or wrong it happened, Em. It happened. I'm not sure I'd be here right now if it didn't. I shouldn't have told you to forget it." I really did enjoy the boo, I'm falling more and more in love with Ms. Ryals writing with the more books I read by her!

Just a few pages in and there's already action, and tension with the characters, I love it! "Sarcasm is overrated, Bruno. Conor Reinhardt is Emma's protector. For him, that's practically a declaration of love." Conor was really frustrating me in this book, second guessing some of his choices and not being able to make up his mind on things that should have been made up on a long time ago. Then there are some of his actions that pissed me off, it's like SERIOUSLY! The love Conor has for Emma is something most people spend their whole lives looking for and I really cherished that:
(something happened before this scene so it may not make sense to some people I don't want to give away spoilers)
                                                  "Done now, Romeo?" Roach snarls
My eyes are on Emma's. Her gaze on mine. It's all that matters.
"Add that to my list of crimes," I say lightly.
And of course just when the going gets good it's cut off I'm really despising these damn cliffhangers! Can't wait for the next book in the series.
