Embrace By Stacey Rourke

I loved the first book, but I loved this one more! I still had tears in my eyes from what happened in the first book (yea I read them back to back because I'm cool like that). I read this and laughed really hard (as I did the first book, but this one had more humor in it). The first scene that I laughed really hard at was: "Ya, know those demons I'm always running off to fight? That's one of them. Think of this as take your Grandmother to work day." I loved Caleb right off (I also loved Alec right off and look where that got me wanting the boy dead.) It's Caleb's accent it's really hot it get's my blood pounding, and the way he talks to Celeste, "Had I, you would've stolen my virtue right here among the stacks of books. Saucy Vixen." OH I was so proud of Celeste in this book she grew a pair of balls (no not literally that would just be weird.) "That," I gestured over my shoulder at Alec, "is none of your business. And this," I waved my hand at his heaving display of testosterone, "is not going to happen. You abandoned me in the friggin' mountains. You don't get to come in here and play "jealous boyfriend" you get to play "coffee shop patron who sits quietly in the corner and drinks whatever over-brewed over-priced coffee is slopped in front of you." Got it?" Jesume Stacey between the emotional scenes and the damn cliffhanger that third book needs to come faster then March!
