Kerry sometimes just needs to work things out with her dog, "she was standing in the middle of the sidewalk talking to her dog. Who did that? She did, apparently." Kerry's dad does not miss a thing, “sounds good, sweetie. We’ll be there in a few minutes. I think Caleb needs a little time to, uh, compose himself.” I liked this book, I liked Caleb.
