Chase is just a meanie when he's upset, "he narrowed his eyes. “From the way those guys in there were eyefucking you, you might as well have been.” He dropped his gaze to her sheer blouse and long, slinky skirt. “In that outfit, no wonder.” There are times Chase is appalled by his woman, “you do laundry and you have real, actual groceries, which means you must cook. Everything’s so tidy too. Do you have a cook or maid?” What kind of lazy mothereffer did she think he was?" Chase is always trying to dig himself out of the hole he dug, “wait. I have a sister. I know I’m not supposed to mention periods and crap. I just wanted to let you know I’m…sensitive to women’s issues.” I liked this book, I liked that Summer gave Chase a run for his money.
