I have to say out of all the installments this one is by far the best! I loved Dev and he didn't take sh** from anyone, "if he was bothered by the other man's threat, he didn't show it. 'Be seein' you," he said in a tone that implied Wrex shouldn't let the door hit him on the a** on the way out." But then there's this side of him that's all soft, "he shook his head. "hey, I still think he's an a**hole, don't get me wrong, but I'll fix your bike. As an apology for jumping to conclusions. You can pay me in installments when I'm done." Cass she's bada** but sometimes it's nice to have someone on your side and someone that cares about you, "Dev put his arm around her shoulders, pulling her into his side. "Come on," he said. "If you're really good, I'll buy you a root beer float." Cass snuggled against him, grateful for his warmth." And let's just say they are compatible in the bedroom, "he hands crept up his arms, stopping at his biceps. Her fingers dug in, kneading the skin beneath Dev's shirt. His next kiss was more urgent, his mouth slanting over hers as he yanked her impossibly closer." And the innuendos that Dev has good grief, "she grabbed onto Dev's arm, holding on to him until she didn't feel quite so shaky. She never wanted to let him go. He slipped out of her, kissing the flesh below her earlobe, nipping at her neck slightly. "Glad you came?" he whispered against her skin." I don't know what else to say but I really loved Dev, "he gave her a wry smile. "And so for why I said to put on clothes - it makes it hard to fight with you when my di**'s standing at attention."
