Dorothea is a firecracker, the girl is sassy and feisty, “no.” His eyes narrowed. “But I’m wearing a thong,” she said, and his fingers jerked on the wheel." Daniel can be a very intimidating, persuasive guy at times, “I told my dad I want to date you.” He took her by the waist and swung her around, then pressed her against the wall. “I want to tell everyone in town you belong to me.” Thea can shock Daniel with all her innocence, “not that,” she said, and snorted. “The other thing. I didn’t get to… you know… taste you.” He missed a step." Daniel is a man who likes to negotiate, “***. Right.” Daniel nodded. “Three times a day is the bare minimum for us. And the lights will be on.” I loved this book, I loved all the characters minus a few and I loved the small town feel.

So it took half the book to get Coert's head out of his butt, and once he did the man had no patience, "I emitted a small cry when my arm was yanked and I went flying, slamming into Coert’s front. I looked up at him to see his chin in his neck looking down at me, holding the pie to the side. “Does this pie . . . need . . . refrigerating?” he growled." What a great addition to this series, I'm bummed that this is the final book in the series, I loved it. I enjoyed this book.

I liked this book, I fell in love with Callan.
