Jonah I loved him, I loved his thoughts and I loved his attitude and everything, "best. He'd forgotten that she'd always called him by his last name. Except in bed. Then he was Jonah. He forced images of Charlie in his bed away and answered, "My company is sponsoring the hackfest." He honest, "actually, I want you naked in my bed, but I'll settle for this." He tossed his stuff on the table behind her laptop. "What are you doing?" He likes to prove that he's the man for her, "I don't know who's been telling you lies, but sex without an orgasm isn't good. I plan to show you good. Excellent even." He grabbed her waist, turned, and tossed her on the bed." I loved him I loved how honest he was, "I hope you know that I won't be able to think for s*** tonight because I'll only be imagining you naked in my bed." I love this series and it's characters.

The Unsuitable Secretary by Maggie Robinson
Thomas that boy has to remind his girl about some things from time to time, "that's the governess's daughter speaking. Remember, you are my mistress now, and mistresses are indecent by definition." He's also a bossy one, "and I'll buy you whatever I feel like, whenever I like. I'll have you know all my friends think I have impeccable taste." He tries to fix what he can for his girl, "Thomas ducked the flying fountain pen, though a few drops of ink splashed on his sleeve. "Now, Harry, you're overreacting. This will all blow over in a day or two. And you don't need a fresh start! If you married me -" He's also so considerate, "should he try to replicate them now? No, let the poor girl sleep. There were many more hours in the day, many more days, weeks, months, years!" I enjoyed this book a lot I loved Thomas and Harriet but mainly Thomas he was completely something else and I loved it.
Risking it All by JM Stewart
Even in his sleep Kyle's body knows what it wants, "she knew desire when she felt it. She wasn't alone in that, either. Kyle's hips pressed intimately against her backside, and his undeniable erection nudged her butt." He's also a caveman when it comes to his girl, "then something snapped. A low, growling curse slipped from his lips, and he crossed the threshold. One strong arm seized her waist, yanking her against him, all fire and determination that evaporated the instant his body fused with hers." The girl knows how to show her man she wants him, "she slid her hands inside his boxer briefs to cup his firm, bare bottom and pressed him closer. "Kyle, please. I ache." I enjoyed this book and I really enjoyed Kyle I just loved him.
Say You Will by M. Malone
Trent he can overreact when his woman gets hurt, "Trent took one look at her hand and paled. He barreled past Penny, and grabbed her by the arm. "What did you do? What the hell did you do?" He pulled her against him and when he did, she could feel that he was trembling." He's also one aggressive man when it comes to his girl and naughty time, "tell me you're mine," he growled against her neck, the sound one of desperate longing." He knows how to give compliments, "Trent pushed her hair out of the way, clearing the path for his tongue to find the curve of her collarbone. "You look best in nothing at all. So you can take all that stuff back to the effing store if you want." What he lacks is knowing what to do with Mara in his life in NY so Mara of course she's not afraid to let him know how she feels, "she shrugged but the way she didn't look up when she did it made him think it mattered. A lot. "Just that she seems to be at all the family events. She's there and I'm not. Shouldn't it be the other way around?" I had read the prequel of Mara and Trent way back when and I always wanted to see more of those two so I'm so glad it was finally their turn for a full novel.

Not Quite Dead by Sela Carsen
Instant attraction when Sabine and Willem meet and the more she helps him out the more she gets attracted:
...but the man sitting at the table wearing a half-open bathrobe stopped her in her tracks.
"S***." She slapped a hand over her mouth.
He lifted an eyebrow and, with his voice still gravelly from sleep, said, "likewise."
He's so sweet and such a gentleman, "we did, but I mean it. Keep teasing me and the show will be over before it starts. Our first time may be too fast anyway, but I swear I'll make it up to you." I enjoyed this book a lot.
Claimed by Light by Reese Monroe
I love this series so of course when the author puts out a new book belonging in it I have to read it and I wasn't disappointed although I loved it Theo's book was still my favorite. Len that girl knows how to hold a grudge not that I blame her, "you poisoned me, Slade! I....you" - her jaw tightened - "effing betrayed me. That's not something I can get over with a snap of my fingers." I loved how Slade knew some of Lena's behaviors, "Addies touched Halena's fingers around his wrist, and they tightened. Her fangs jetted out, and Addie gasped. "It's okay, Addster." Slade reached up best he could and caressed Lena's arm. "She's just protecting me. Back off a sec." Sometimes Slade is something else and I totally loved him, "staying focused on Grams with you straddling me like this....might be difficult." Beneath her, she felt him responding." I hope this isn't the last book in the series I fell in love with Addy so I hope she gets a book of her own, of course a few years later in the future.
What the Bride Wants by Kelly Hunter
One scene killed me and that was the park scene:
"Not here." His voice was gruff and halfway to pleading. "Ella, pull back. Public park. Children."
"What about them? Pregnancy is very unlikely; you're not even naked yet."
Sawyer I loved his cockiness and attitude, "everything to do with the lust," he told her dryly. "You want to hope that the level of lust fades as you get to know me better, otherwise you're going to want to please me all the time." Ella that girl just doesn't care who sees her kiss her man and he is just happy to return those feelings, "she leaned forward, over the table, and kissed him square on the lips in front of half of Marietta, Montana, and Sawyer grinned and slid his hand in her hair and made it count." I loved this book so much I want my own Sawyer.
