Baiting Him by Aurora Rose Reynolds

Gus often wonders if he hears his woman right at times, "he blinks, leaning back out of my space and allowing me to finally breathe normally. “Did you just ask if I want a cookie?” The man knows his woman well, “I’m not creating problems.” I don’t even bother responding to her statement, since I know it will only encourage her to fight her corner. “I’m not creating problems.” She huffs, crossing her arms over her chest, and this time, I do actually laugh. “This isn’t funny.” I liked this book, I loved Gus.
