Vince just doesnt understand his woman at times, "Vince pauses, the bag hovering over my countertop. “What?” He squints at me like I’m talking nonsense. Then he does a slow perusal of what I’m wearing and scowls. “So you’re in your pajamas and you have no food in the house? What were you going to eat for dinner, Payton?” Payton is legitimately just so cute, I don't think the woman realizes how much she drives her man bonkers, “no. Pole dancing was me taking an interest in your hobbies.” I love that Vince gets used to his girl's craziness, “How considerate of you to think all this through.” I pull her close to me and she yelps, not expecting it. Then I kiss her. I’d eff her over the back of our new sofa, but..." I loved this book, I live Jana's characters their witty and fun to read about.
