Ben likes to think he's all tough but when it comes to his woman he's a mess, “you don’t like chicken? Fish? Macaroni?” He was beginning to sound desperate, even to himself. “What about corn bread? Everyone likes corn bread, don’t they?” Ben likes to take care of his girl, "Ben guided her into a reclining position— he even lifted her feet to the couch— and covered her with an afghan." I liked this book, I loved Ben.
