Set the Night on Fire by Laura Trentham
Ella likes to express herself, even when its not appropriate, "she skimmed her fingertips along the hair of his beard. It wasn’t soft, but bristly like the man himself. “I’ve been wondering what your beard felt like.” She couldn’t keep her mouth shut." Mack doesn't understand his woman at times, “are you seriously asking me that after we had ***?” Mack sometimes has to pull some hardcore strings, “we’re going to lock the doors, pull the drapes, and ignore everyone. I promised you a sunrise.” I loved this book, Mack was a hard working man, he was so easy to love.
