Hot and Badgered by Shelly Laurenston
Berg sure is original with naming things:
“Where’s your dog, Berg?” Charlie asked.
Berg whistled, then called out, “Hey! ****head!”
Charlie growled a little. “You need to give that dog a proper name.”
“How is that not a proper name?”
Charlie just has no boundaries, "that was . . . until she suddenly turned her head into his body and began sniffing him. She felt Berg jerk under her nose. “Wha . . . what are you doing?” Charlie just gives her a man a complex and makes him self conscious, “he is not coming and stop making me feel bad about how much food I eat. I’m a bear! I have an appetite.” I liked this book, for me the beginning was a little slow and then it started to pick up.
