Maddox could be so considerate, "he shrugged . “I can just hold you all night, then. *** isn’t the only thing I want from you.” Maddox is just somtimes impatient, "...picking me up in his arms, he carried me to the bedroom. “What are you doing? Our food is getting cold.” I liked this book, I loved Maddox the man tried really hard.
