There are times Dex has to rephrase things because the man gets it wrong the first time, “no, that’s not what I meant. I’m not saying I want you to go. I’m saying you should come wait inside while I take a shower. And then I’ll get you a beer. Okay?” I liked this book, Dex was a real great guy, and Cady had a big heart.
