I liked sweet Simon, “you are a very rich lady now that you’re wed to me.” She lifted one shoulder in a shrug and looked down at her food. She appeared dejected, and he didn’t like that. “We will discuss money at a more appropriate time. If you want an allowance, you may have one. Whatever you want, Magpie.” I really did like Simon, the man was protective, “good. Because I want you to know that I will always protect you, no matter the cost. Even if it’s with my own life.” I liked this book.
