The banter that goes on between Nate and Sage was funny:
There was a moment's silence, before he gave a low, amused laugh. "You're uncomfortable with my nudity? You're a shifter."
Oh dammit, she was blushing again. "Yeah, well it doesn't mean I like guys waving their business at me all day."
"Waving? Really?"
Sage has a temper on her, "and the whole sleeping together thing that we did?" She rounded on him now and folded her arms across her chest. "Won't be happening again. I'm sorry it was such an unspectacular event." There is one thing you can't deny between these two and it's the chemistry:
"Not technical. It's just a matter of having a pe***."
"Right, and I'm not afraid to use it."
I love Shelli's books they're always funny and you have characters you can't help but fall in love with.
