David is the type of man you don't say no to, "I suggest you get used to the idea of me being in your life, Lemon. I'm not going to back away easily." David may be an alpha man but he's gentle and sweet and will dote on his woman, "I'm not. I don't like the thought of you being ill. I'm taking care of my woman." I enjoyed this book, once Lemon realized what she was doing to herself and David and let loose she was a great character.
