I love a man who can admit he done wrong and will do anything to make it right, "his hand cradled her chin and his thumb traced her lips. "You want honesty, disclosure and wooing? You've got it." He's very adamant about making things right for his girl, "his hands slid down to her a** and brought her middle tight against his. Energy bounced off her and sparked life into him. "The wooing is not over and we are still not done working through whatever exists between us." There was one conversation I couldn't help but giggle over:
His eyebrow lifted. "Are you ashamed of me?"
Hardly that. "The women get all rowdy with you here."
"Okay."
Not really since they talked about him for an hour after he left last time. That was a bit more than she could handle. "I think it has something to do with your a**."
I love a man who can be straightforward, "you want flowers, I'll get you flowers. You want to go out every night, fine...though I would point out there's a new employment issue which we need to discuss." He gave her a tentative smile. "But truth is I'd rather stay in. Make you dinner, help you lock up the store. Do inventory if you need to." I enjoyed this book and the back and forth between Mallory and Walker.
