For me this seemed like a very tame and domesticated relationship right off the bat with Huntley and Melissa, "are you cooking?" he asked. What he wouldn't give for another one of her home-cooked meals. "All I had was some popcorn." It shouldn't have surprised me I haven't read the other books in this series so I'm not sure if we've seen them in the other books I know that they're partners and are comfortable with each other. What parts I loved was when these two finally got together and did the naughty, "then, to his surprise, she snuggled against him. "If I make you too hot, just push me away." As the story continues I actually fell in love with the domestication these two had, "usually...I like to sleep through the night, or day, depending on the mission I'm on," she said, toying with his nipple. Already she was making him think her 'sleeping' with him wasn't going to be conductive sleeping. "But if you wake up and are feeling....needy..." I loved that Huntley likes to change his agreement plans, "we agreed to a condo, but I'm open to buying a home if you prefer." Overall I liked this book.
