Good Wood by Michelle Pace

Good gosh Miss Molly, I loved her, even in her drunken stupors, "more." I demanded like a petulant child, my wrists slipping around his neck. It was my birthday, dammit. Drunk and selfish, I wanted to fulfill the first item I'd ever had on a bucket list. I wanted Joe Jensen in my bed." I thought Joe's warnings were really cute, even though I don't think they were warnings at all, "I slipped my hands back into Joe's fly and he groaned, his breath becoming raspy. "Careful, little girl..." He moaned against my lips and I shut him up by closing my mouth on his." At times I felt the story was a little slow, but I liked how Joe and Molly's relationship developed and I liked how Molly wasn't a woman in need of a man to save her. I can't wait to see what else this author has to offer.
