I loved this book it was funny, witty and I loved Lucy, "what? No, it's not that. Not even close." I take a fortifying drink of water and look straight at her. "When I came home today and saw you talking with him, I felt....angry." Jensen he was totally adorable although while reading I totally imagined Jensen Ackles, "you haven't, uh, I mean, we haven't talked much lately, and I saw you with that guy Tony that one night, and I was just wondering if you, um, didn't need me anymore? For your research?" Lucy can sometimes be, I wouldn't call it a mood killer but the girl is just to honest:
His mouth pops open and a slight noise that's a cross between a groan and laugh emerges. "This is much more manageable?" He repeats in a strangled voice.
"Yes."
"As opposed to your science club lover who was, apparently, the size of a horse?"
They are the cutest couple and I love how Jensen's body doesn't control itself well around Lucy, "that part of him that was inside me only minutes ago is beginning to stiffen again. He catches me staring and looks down at himself before returning his gaze to mine with a small smile. "I can't help it," he says. "You realize I'm in a near constant state of arousal when you're around." This book really was cute and I'd gladly read any more books this author puts out.
Thank you for your review! I really love it, and I'm so glad you enjoyed the book!
ReplyDeleteAlso, confession time...while I was writing it I was totally picturing Jensen Ackles, too :)
Anyways, thank you, thank you, thank you!!
