*******************************SPOILER ALERT************************************
Sydney good lord I loved her, "what kind of pay are we talking about? I still think you're insane for wanting me to help you write lyrics, but you may have caught me at a very desperate and destitute moment, being as though I'm homeless and could use some extra money." Yeah... finding out Ridge has a girlfriend was a tough scene for me to read especially since I fell in love with Sydney and she's just easy to care about, "she looks at the text, and her jaw tightens. She slowly brings her eyes back to mine, and she snatches the phone out of my hand, grabs the doorknob, and steps back into the bathroom. Then closes the door in my face." I mean there is chemistry there and well Sydney knows how to hit him through the heart, "I hit send, then immediately gasp. What the hell was I thinking? That wasn't funny. It was supposed to be funny, but it's after midnight, and I'm never funny after midnight. Ridge is still looking down at the screen on his phone. His jaw twitches, and he shakes his head slightly, then looks up at me as if I've just shot him through the heart. He drops his arm and runs his free hand through his hair, then turns to walk to his room." I mean Ridge can be an a** but a generous one, "I already told her to leave today. Do me a favor, and make sure she gets moved in okay this week. Get her anything she needs. Groceries, extra furniture, whatever." But they both can be so passionate toward each other, "his hand glides across my back, and he grips me tightly, then lifts his hips at the same time as he pulls me harder against him." I hope to either see an update novella or see them in another book based around other characters from the story.
