Alright the ending wasn't what I expected but I could live with it for now, key words FOR NOW! Luke I liked him, he knows how to give good compliments, "you're goddamned beautiful girl, Avery. I'm not letting you loose in New York City where any frat jerk could take advantage of you." He's set in the role of protector, "his jaw sets as he slams the cruiser's door closed behind me. "I'm not leaving you alone, Avery." Luke he's honest, "you really know how to make a guy feel like crap, you know that?" He steps towards me. "I freaked the eff out. We...last night, I knew it was a bad idea. I know we shouldn't have done it but I kinda hoped you wouldn't hold it against me." I mean he is so protective and I loved it, "get the eff out of here, right now," Luke snaps. "If I ever so much as hear you've whispered her effing name, I will break every bone in your goddamn body." I can't wait for the next installment.
