Jockeys and Jewels by Bev Pettersen

Kurt he has some naughty thoughts about Julie, "tomorrow he'd have to pump Julie for information. Pump her hard. Sexual images nudged into his thoughts, thoughts he muscles into line." Julie I loved her she keeps her head above her shoulders, "I'm sorry." Her voice lowered. "We both know it's stupid to mix business with pleasure. Even though you're horribly attractive -" Kurt he really tries to be a gentleman, "Kurt followed, trying to flatten his grin. He dismounted beside a stack of firewood and a blackened ring of rocks. "I'll unsaddle for you, honey," he said, careful to keep his mouth flat." And when his lady makes a demand Kurt has no choice but to obey, "touch me," she said. He whipped her shirt off then effortlessly flipped her onto the blanket, unhooking her bra in an easy motion that revealed years of practice." He's very into Julie's feelings, "he nodded as though he understood, but of course he didn't. "I shouldn't have rushed you like that," he said. "I should have gone slower. Could have made it better." I can't wait to see what Bev does next I really do love reading her books.
