The Dom Project by Heloise Belleau & Solace Ames

John woo-baby is all I need to say about him, "Robin. We're going," he said. "Now." He stood abruptly, shifting so that he stood beside her instead of in front of her. Hooked his arm under hers so he could raise her without grabbing her, lifted, and walked." John he really is a good guy, "John frowned. "You don't have to settle, you know. Not for a vanilla guy, and not for an a**hole dom.You just have to.. God, here I go with the cliches again. You just have to keep at it. You'll find the right person." As the book goes on you can tell Robin has more then submissive feelings for John, "I should go," she murmured, far too low to be heard, stood up on wobbly half-asleep legs and fled." I mean my heart was just breaking over something, "don't effing talk to me that way." He didn't get to call her his 'little' anything. Or his sweetheart, either, while they were effing at it. The jokes they'd shared all seemed to sour in her memory." She has a temper, "frankly, yes! Even if it was a 'voyeurism dynamic', as you called it, I was expecting you to be performing for me. This is supposed to be about me. Exploring my needs, helping me learn about myself. And I'm sorry if that seems selfish, but that was the agreement. That was the contract you signed. So if it wasn't working for you then it was your own damn - look, we could have talked about it. You didn't have to spring it on me like that." FINALLY some truth from John comes out, "hell no. You make me a possessive a**hole." He tightened his hands into fists, then released them again."
