I thought this book was about something else, but I got to reading and realized that it wasn't what I thought, and that was a good thing. The book was different, and it had me bawling like a big baby at certain parts. You could see the difference in Michael before and after the accident, before he'd say anything to get what he wants, "I get what you mean. I don't want to let you out of my sight tonight, either." Then after he got what he wanted he was a total jerk, "look, I thought you'd be happy with our night together." He sounded genuinely puzzled. "I mean - you told me how much you wanted me. How you longed to be with me before I moved to Graz. I wouldn't mind going on a date with you again sometime, but I've been busy. Am I missing something?" Then after his accident he was different, it was like Julia was the only thing keeping his attention, keeping him grounded, "something like that." He took her hand in his. "I know I hurt you before, but I won't do that again. You couldn't trust him, but you can trust me." I mean before the accident that Michael would do anything to get in her pants and this one his gentlemanly, "okay. I guess we can do that." He shot her an apologetic look, blushing a little. "Sorry. I promised to be a gentleman, but I'd be having a really hard time with that if we slept in the same bed." I hope this was a start of a series because I don't think Julia's story is quite finished yet.
