This one was another one in the series that I didn't really like and I'm not sure why. I don't think Shadow was dominant enough, I mean he was a little dominant, "I don't dislike you. That's the problem. You could have been killed by the wolves or taken away by another male. That awakes certain instincts in me." I mean I like how much communication was in this book between Beauty and Shadow, "you are telling me that I can have and keep you." He winced a little at how deep his voice sounded but hormones raged inside him. "Big turn-on," he admitted, softening his tone. "It makes me want to claim you."
