This book was a fast paced read normally I don't like reading about characters that have kids but Denise's weren't really mentioned that much. And Denise is such an interesting character, "being served with foreclosure paperwork and getting called into her job. Happy effing birthday to me, she thought." Liam he was interesting as well and he's blunt, "look lady, I'm not about to mug you out here in the open at the busiest piece of s*** store this town has to offer. You're relatively safe. The only thing I'm here to do is offer you a thank you from my sister and the club. We appreciate you coverin' her shift so she could come get us out." He truly is blunt especially when Ms. Denise goes through a little makeover, "more like hornier than a mothereffer." He likes his girl, "s***, sorry," he apologized. "I'm usually much smoother that this, but you are on effing hot piece of a**."
