I loved the book! I liked it alot more then the first one of the series as there was no abuse, and I didn't hate as Alex as much. Alex I'm glad he's changed even if it was just a little bit, but he and Giselle don't belong together. I'm falling more and more in love with Antoine, he cherishes Giselle and would do anything for her, he treats he like a queen and with respect. "Well, one would be stupid to deny the obvious, but I have always been a sucker for damsels in distress, especially beautiful princess like you." He was so irritatingly confident and smug with himself." Giselle is nothing like a damsel is distress, she does anything and everything to protect her unborn child, and even when he was born. I especially enjoy the conversation Alex and Antoine have, I think it may have given Alex a perspective of how badly he had treated Giselle and how much of an ass he was.
"Do you love Giselle, Antoine?"
Finally, he answered and kept it simple, "Yes."
I'm like take that!!! Then there were moments when Alex needs to either be punched or kicked in the groin for the crap he says to Giselle, "All you had to do was marry me, have the child, and live your life," he murmured. "Instead, you got yourself kidnapped, destroyed my father's life, and cavorted with angels. If anything you did this to yourself. It's you who is turning simple plan into a nightmare not us." Hells bells Alex do you NOT know when to shut your trap like seriously! Let's talk about that cliffhanger, NOT IMPRESSED WAS I, but I have to admit it wasn't as bad as the first book's, and Marcus now needs to die like seriously.
