Burning in Water by Arielle Caldwell

I loved this book, and I loved the cover, I can't stop staring at it! This book has mystery, love, and adventure all wrapped into one. I really liked the scene where Gavan finally notices Nerita as more then just a friend, but someone who he fell in love with. "She looked up at him smiling and blushed when he couldn't stop staring. He knew at that moment, being sent to protect her was the right decision. He didn't doubt his feelings for her either as she had the ability to make him yearn for her without even trying." I also enjoyed the playfulness they have with each other I thought it was very sweet. "Ha! You're in the royal court...you have to. Plus, you look stunning in a dress; actually look like a girl!" He laughed as he threw the dress to me" There are some scenes (yes sex but it's not written grossly or goes into every detail) but I would recommend this book for 17+. When things started to get good the book ended, so I know there will be another bookie in the series but I still wasn't impressed with the damn cliffhanger!
