Dr. OB by Max Monroe
Will is awesome, he'll keep Melody's dirty little secret, "she smiled and exhaled a breath of relief. “Rat you out? No. Tease you mercilessly until the end of time about it? Yes.” will and Melody are entertaining but there are scenes where the parents steal the show, “if you two end up doing the sex, be safe,” my father added, and I wanted to melt into the hardwood floor. “Do you have condoms, Will?” There are times Will has to put his foot down, "...Will wrapped his arms around me tightly and pulled me away from the counter. “You’re not measuring my ***k, Mel.” I absolutely loved this book, it was so funny.
Mr. Big by Delancey Stewart
Oliver would rather use actions than words, "before I could ask another question, Oliver’s mouth was on mine, and his body was pressed up against me, pinning me to the solid wood door behind me." Oliver tries to help with chores around the house, “do you put this shirt in the dryer?” Oliver stood in the ... of the nursery, holding a gauzy blouse I’d worn the night before and looking adorably confused." I liked this book, I loved Oliver.

EXCERPT: SAM She shakes her head and laughs. “I don’t judge. It sounds to me like your therapy has helped you see what it is you need versus what you thought you wanted, and I’m so happy you’ve recovered from your injury and you’re able to return to work. So many agents aren’t as lucky as you.” There’s a spark of sadness in her eyes. A look that only the friends and family of those in law enforcement get when they think of those who aren’t as fortunate as I am. I nod in agreement. “Which is why I was excited to take this opportunity here in L.A. with your brother. He’s giving me another chance to prove myself. California is a fresh start for me.” I smile at her and she smiles in return, and it’s soft, caring, and does things to me that I’m not sure I’m ready for. “So what do you do?” I ask, turning the questions on her. I’m done spilling my garbage. I want to hear about her. She drops her eyes from mine and takes another drink of wine before resting it on her thigh. “I’m an attorney. I do corporate law, mostly negotiating and reviewing contracts. It’s extremely boring to someone who’s not interested in legalese, but it keeps me busy and it pays well.” She shrugs. “Do you ever end up in court?” “No. Ironically, if there is ever litigation, we typically hire outside counsel. Sounds weird, doesn’t it?” She scrunches her nose up and smiles. “Not really.” I shake my head. “I get why. You’re an expert at what you do. The attorneys you hire are experts in litigation. Everyone does what they do best.” “Exactly.” Our conversation slows, but it’s not uncomfortable in the silence. We both relax in the quiet and jut ‘be’. There’s something to be said for that level of comfort when you’re in the presence of someone else. “So, when do you think you’ll be moving in?” she asks. “I’m having some stuff delivered this weekend, so I hope Saturday is okay?” I raise my eyebrow at her, hoping it’s not an inconvenience. She smiles. “Saturday is perfect.” “I’m still waiting on a truck from Phoenix, so that’ll be sometime next week, but I’m ready to get out of that hotel. Speaking of that hotel, I really should get going. It’s getting late, and I didn’t mean to keep you up.” I stand up and she follows suit. We both carry our empty glass and beer bottle to the kitchen, and Kate swipes something off the center island. “This is the key for the house.” She dangles the ring on her pointer finger. “You can have your alarm system installed anytime. If you need anything secured before then, I have a safe and an alarm on this house. You’re welcome to keep anything in here.” “I appreciate that.” The soft tips of her fingers brush against my palm as she places the key in my hand. “See you Saturday,” she says, her voice barely above a whisper. “See you Saturday,” I return. For the first time in a long time, I have something to look forward to.And don’t miss the first two books in the Bound & Broken Series!

RELEASE BLITZ: The One That Got Away by Magan Vernon
Title: The One That Got Away
Series: Friendship, Texas #4
Author: Magan Vernon
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: April 24, 2017
Blurb
A brand new standalone from Friendship, Texas featuring everyone's favorite awkward baker and the one that got away.
I looked up and standing there was my ex-boyfriend, Jordan Webber. Maybe ex-boyfriend wasn't the right word. Maybe the boy who I dated for almost two years. Then he graduated early, leaving for art school in New York. He wanted me to come with him, but what future did I have in New York? My parents weren’t paying for me to go to school unless it was a state school with a real degree and all I ever wanted was to do photography. So the portrait studio worked for the time being until I realized I really needed to get out of the house and took the part-time job at the bakery. Between my parents’ divorce, work, and trying to get over my break up, I was basically a hot mess the first two years after high school. Joey came in at the right time as a distraction then the job at the bakery. But I still never forgot about the one that got away.
I hadn't seen Jordan in over four years and there he was, standing there with a hand on one of the boxes and his blue eyes wide open like he'd just seen a ghost.
"Abbey Dillinger?" he asked, it wasn't so much of a question as it was a breathless statement.
I hated him for leaving me. He could have gone to art school in Dallas. He could have stayed if he really did love me. I should have hated him. But seeing him, standing in front of me, I couldn’t hate him. The past four years had been very good to him.
**This book is a standalone in a series of standalones taking place in the fictional town of Friendship, Texas. You don't need to read any of the previous books to understand this one***

REVIEW:
I liked that Abbey planned for things, "everytime I saw Jordan, I looked like a complete hot mess with a high bun and either work clothes or a dirty tank top. Tonight, I was going to show him just how well I cleaned up and what he’d been missing all these years." Jordan knows how to woo a girl, "he shrugged. “You wanted romance. What’s more romantic than post-coital breakfast with my parents?” I really liked this book, it was entertaining.

Kiss of the Irish by Lauren Hawkeye
Dang when Sarah is overtired girl tends to get a little cray cray, "...Sarah’s head drooped against his shoulder. She took an exaggerated sniff of the front of his plaid shirt. “You smell wonderful.” Arching an eyebrow, Cian did his best to hide his grin." Sarah has some good friends around her, always bringing her back up when she's down, “we’re going to get you drunk, and then you can take advantage of Cian. I assure you, he won’t mind in the slightest.” I really liked this book, Cian was a sexy man.
Tempting Her Neighbor by Laura Jardine
Sometimes Cole's pride can't take what Rachel says, "he scowled. “I don’t think anyone has called me adorable since I was a baby.” Rachel sometimes likes to call the shots, “enough with the pretty words,” she said , emotion overcoming her. “Time to have sex. Maybe in the shower, because I need to get cleaned up after that run.” I liked this book, I loved how awkward Cole could be at times.
Payback by Christina Phillips
Amelia knows how to get a reaction out of Gage, “you mean if I knee your nuts, you won’t fire me?” Instinctively, I cradle my junk." Gage has no problem telling his woman his thoughts, "if she wants me to spell it out for her, I will. “We’re dating, Amelia. You and me. And just so you know, I don’t share well, so don’t even think about going out with one of your nice boys again.” I loved that Gage loved how strong willed his woman was, "...I love how she put Abbott in his place without a second’s hesitation. My girl doesn’t take **** from anyone, and that’s the way it should be." I really loved this book.
