I have to admit after reading the first few pages I kind of had to force myself to continue reading this book as the content upset me, I mean everyone knows I'm a rainbows and roses type of girl, and for a book to start out that way just had me worried if I would like the book or not. I continued reading and honestly I'm glad I did because if I hadn't I wouldn't have met Malice and fell in love with the big brute, who's protective, "eff the doctor, I'm taking you to the E.R. I'd say you've got fractured ribs, Jane. The G.P. would probably send you there for an X-ray anyway." I mean he's so protective that killing comes on his mind, "another weeks and he would have killed her. Intentional or not. And that would have meant I had to kill him. Intentional or not." He'd literally do anything for his girl even the dreaded shopping, "I follow her into a woman's clothing store, and I swear to God I want to cry. Why? Why would she do this to me? I'm a guy, for eff's sake; we don't do dresses and s***." I enjoyed this book even though we didn't get off on to the right start

Running Fire by Lindsay McKenna
Kell he's a sweetheart, "could have fooled me," Kell said. "You are one heck of a good-looking woman even if you're forced into wearing that bulky flight suit." Leah she's been through a lot I'm glad she found Kell, "much." Leah sighed. "did you know, Kell, that all my anxiety goes away when you come into the cave? If I'm with you, I feel fine. I feel strong. Confident." He's so considerate, "I have to get a shower," Kell rasped unsteadily, "and shave off this beard." Reluctantly, he released Leah, wanting to go straight to the bedroom instead." He obviously doesn't want to give his woman a beard burn that's totally considerate. I enjoyed this book, I really loved Kell.
The Hottest Ticket in Town by Kimberly Van Meter
*Sighs* oh Kane, he's sexy even when he's spouting crap off and complaining reminiscing about the good ole' days with his woman, "yeah, visions of Warren kicking my scrawny a** wasn't really a turn-on," he growled, ripping his shirt from his body and tossing it to the floor." Laci she knows how to stroke a man's ego, "her fingers finding and curling around his ready erection. "You have the prettiest c***, you know that?" Her responses are smarta** and I liked that, "she laughed and latched onto his c***, shocking and arousing him at the same time. "Well, I manhandles this just a few minutes ago and I seemed to do a pretty good job of it." I enjoyed this book Kane was exactly what I want a man strong, sexy, independent, and did I mention sexy?
Shoulda Been a Cowboy by Maisey Yates
I loved Jake there's only so much he can stand from the girl he wants, "it's fine, you're going to have to hold on to me anyway." Sexual tension was making him testy." Cassie she was cute, "I've never felt muscles quite like this before. I like it." Her face heated. "Sorry, I don't think I'm very good at this." I liked the relationship they had even though they really didn't put a name on it, "I will never understand how you can make my c*** so hard it hurts and make me laugh at the same time." I really liked this book can't go wrong with a bad boy riding a harley.
True North by Liora Blake
Trevor is a very resourceful boy, "I called my manager, he called your agent, your agent gave hims your number, and my manager gave it to me." He's finding out that his type of woman holds nothing back, "eff, you're demanding." He chuckles and lets out a low sigh. "Why does that totally turn me on?" He's protective of what's his, "if he's smart, Simon won't get within fifty miles of you. Not unless he wants to lose all his teeth, his job and his balls." Kate that girl woo-baby, that girl sure knows how to drive her man wild, "goddam, Kate, do you want to eff right here? Because if you don't let up on that s***, that's what's gonna happen."
Interrupting Trevor and his woman is not a good thing, "Trevor looks at him with a scowl. "What? Here I am. Pi**ed off and hard. Should make for a stellar show." Trevor sometimes really can't handle the way is woman acts it drives him wild, "don't effing run like that in those heels and that dress! Your tight little body bouncing like that makes it worse!" I enjoyed this book so much, there was so much humor, and it was a fun read.
First Comes Love by Z.B Heller
Miles is still the charmer, "well, maybe after I drain my pip, the snake would still like the play," I whispered into her ear and nipped her earlobe." Dillon I loved that little boy even more in this book, he's quite informative, "I just heard Uncle Ryan whisper it to Aunt Renee. I thought you'd want to know just in case you did eff up and didn't realize it." Miles he's um... willing to go the length for his woman, "I was pi**ed I had to stand there with my balls overheating in this costume! At any rate, this might be our only kid because my nuts are oven roasted!" Moxie she's a tad bit dramatic, "I'm fat, psychotic, and you have huge, low, hanging balls!" Moxie screamed." Yeah, I liked this book maybe more than the first one Miles and Moxie sure have a lot of memorable moments.

Blurb
Debt. Guilt. Death.
Finn Walker has spent years carrying the weight of his regret and guilt with him wherever he went. When he found his home with the Nordic Lords Motorcycle Club, he quickly learned their outlaw lifestyle allowed him to banish his guilt with his fists and guns and no one would stop him. It was freeing, and now, he fits right in.
Friends with Ryker Knight for years, Meg McNeery turns to the one place she knows is safe when she needs safety more than her next paycheck. On the run from a man determined to receive payment for a debt he believes Meg owes, she knows the Nordic Lords Clubhouse in Minnesota is the only place where she and her five-year-old son, Brayden, will be safe.
What Meg doesn’t expect is her instant, magnetic attraction to Finn. And when her running ends with the three of them trapped together…it not only tests Meg’s physical self-control, but it also causes Finn to face his demons.
Finn has sworn he’d never get involved with another woman again, much less a woman with a child, but he can’t stop thinking about Meg, the blue-eyed angel who silences his nightmares.
When Finn’s past fears and present threats collide…will he finally be able to save the woman who needs him?
Or will Meg end up like his ex, Piper? Buried six feet under.

I loved this book, it's probably my favorite out of the series. Finn that boy has an attitude and he is something else, "he shrugged. "Don't mind waking up in the middle of the night when my first view is a pair of legs like yours." Ryker is whipped like all the other men who have women in this MC, "Ryker rolled his eyes. "Yeah, but Faith wants Meg to meet everyone. Whatever," he said, shaking his head. "If Faith wants to throw a damn party, who am I to argue? She likes it." Finn is well endowed and Meg doesn't hesitate to let him know her thoughts on that, "you'll rip me apart," I said, and looked down at his thick d***. He was big. And long. And hell if him jacking himself off wasn't the sexiest thing I'd ever seen." Finn seems to get worked up at some of the worst times especially when Meg's boy comes around after he and Meg have been doing a little playing, "but when I saw Finn turn and not-so-discreetly readjust his erection tenting his shorts, I snorted." I enjoyed this book so, so much.
