Jason he's really sweet, "Jess, if guys don't open doors for you, then they aren't worth your time. No need to thank me." He's so sexy, "that was before you got naked," he said simply as his mouth lowered over mine." I mean I think it really turns him on when his woman doesn't wear panties, "you aren't wearing effing panties," he growled in my ear." I mean he gets really turned on, "no panties, Jess. No effing panties. Don't tell me we aren't having sex anymore." He takes care of his girl, she just needs to answer him before he does, "Jason pressed a kiss to my ear. "Answer me. I'll give you effing orgasms all damn night, but right now I need you to answer me." I know this was Jess and Jason's story but I was kinda more interested in Krit so I'm really hoping his book is next.

Damian by Jessica Wood
Alexis sure knows how to bring Damian down a peg or two, "I -" I was again caught off guard by her. "Well s***. Way to bust my balls, Alexis." I felt a need to defend myself, and this was a feeling I wasn't used to. "First of all, I don't have a girlfriend. That blonde you saw on the stairs the other day was just some random girl I effed. Second of all, when I offered you the drink just now, I was honestly trying to be nice. You seemed really upset and you're covered in dried pain, so I figured you were in need of a drink." It's funny how Alexis got under Damian's skin, "I wanted Alexis. I wanted to eff her. Hard. I wanted her to desire me more than any woman had ever desired me before. I wanted her to be the one riding my co** like it was the rodeo." Now, Alexis may be all shy and conservative but being in Damian's clutches for a little while turns her into a little hellion, "oh! I sense someone's going to miss me." A devious smile curled on her lips as she unzipped my jeans and reached in to greet my hard erection. "I'll definitely miss this," she moaned as her fingers moved along my shaft, making it pulse with need." I mean the girl knows how to get naughty, "I'm starting to see the benefits of you going commando," she moaned as she grabbed my erection with her hand. "God, you're always rock hard and ready for me." I enjoyed reading about Damian and his manwho*ing ways.
Racing Savannah by Miranda Kenneally
Savannah is a saucy thing, "let's see. I've been riding since I was four years old. I was an exercise rider at Charles Town Races. And oh yeah, I caught Star on foot this morning. Remember that?" Jacks' smirk erupts into a full-blown grin." Jack he sometimes has to bring things to perspective for Savannah, "Jack keeps looking at me. "Kelsey and I just hang out sometimes...it's nothing serious. I'm going to check on Star." Way to break a man's spirit Savannah. The girl also knows how to speak her mind, "how can I trust that you aren't treating me great to my face so I'll take care of your horse? What if you hate me behind my back?" She also has backbone and really isn't afraid to speak her feelings, "they said you lose interest in girls after a couple of days and that I wasn't anything special. They're right. If I were special, you wouldn't want to keep me a secret." But Jack hes' got it bad for his girl, once he gets over all his damn issues, "his mouth lifts into a smirk. "You know the deal. I let you ride my horses, and in return you accompany me to all my boring social events." I'm hoping Rory is next in the series.

Sadie by E.L. Todd
Was it just me or did Ethan perhaps maybe take is possessiveness/dominance a little to far? I mean I could be wrong but it felt like he was trying to make Sadie a puppet more than anything, but luckily the girl had sass and told him where to shove it. Ethan he's not like most guys, "I wanted to buy you a drink but some guy beat me to the punch. But since you're hardly touching it, I suspected the flower is a better gift anyway." I mean he's so damn bossy, "you lost the right to an opinion. It's settled. I'm taking you out to dinner tomorrow night. I'll be at your apartment at seven." He's controlling where the sex is concerned to, "I want you to go on birth control. I hate condoms." But he can be considerate, "yeah, baby. I sure will. But I just broke you in. And not to sound like a cocky a**hole, but I'm pretty big. It's going to be a challenge for you." I normally like possessive/dominant men but I just think Ethan took it to far.
Moonlight by Lisa Kessler
Adam he's pretty full of himself, "he smirked. "If I were trying to sweep you off your feet, you'd be swept. Period." He's also do anything for his woman, "you can't take me, but I can choose to go." Adam stroked my hair. "We're a team, okay? Where you go, I go." Lana she gives it to Adam straight, "I didn't mean to hurt you, Adam. But if I stay, it will be forever, so you better not let Nero hurt you." I kissed him and bit his bottom lip playfully. "Or I'll be pi**ed." This book was okay, but I just couldn't get into it.
She Kissed a Vampire by Carol Van Atta
Oh Alcuin I loved your undead a**, "Doll, you're staring at me but you aren't seeing. Did my compliment unsettle you?" I loved the connection Melanie and Alcuin had, "I have done everything possible to avoid this inevitability. I want you so bad I hurt. I ache for you, Melanie Larson, in more places than my fangs. This act will indeed bring you greater protection against our enemies, but also it will bring me great satisfaction to claim you." Melanie I loved her as well, but I loved how Alcuin cherished her, "you've managed to slay the beast, sweet Melanie," he whispered. "We've connected in a manner I hadn't believed possible. You are mine, and I am your, in every way." And when his woman goes missing he will literally break all Hell to get her back, "baby, I'm nothing without you. I've never felt more possessive. If anyone ever touches you again, I will kill them and ask questions later." I love this series and I can't wait to see what characters are next.
Crash by L.A. Shorter
Crash is an intense guy, "I looked up and saw Crash staring at me. There was a fire lit in his eyes, this blaze that was exploding out of him." You know I think the boy is bi-polar especially where Elle is concerned he treats her so fine one minute and the next she's like garbage he can't wait to get rid of, "I'm done here," he continued. The words cut at me. They were callous." But he is still so protective, "who is he?" I growled. "Where is he?" And he would kill anyone who hurt his woman, "Elle. I need to protect her. I needed to see her safe. Nothing anyone could say would change that." The book was okay, I liked it but wasn't in love with it.
