Rough Ride by Gillian Archer

There are times that even though he doesn't want to admit it, I think Bam gets all jealous, “flowers? What flowers?” Bam demanded." Bam is often times flustered around his woman, “I don’t have standards .” Bam closed his eyes and bit out a curse. “I mean I have standards— clearly— but that’s not what this is about. I just— Eff, why is it so hard to get words out?” I think it's so cute that Bam doesn't understand what his woman is trying to say at times, “You’ve never been with a biker?” Bam blinked at me. “You know we’re like other guys, right? Same equipment and everything. Nothing strange, although I know a few of the guys have piercings. We can talk about that later if you want.” Bam tends to make plans without sharing with his woman and gets upset when they get changed, “what? An hour? When did that happen? I thought we were gonna have the whole afternoon together. I had plans. Wonderful, dirty plans involving you and my beard and your thighs.” I loved this book!

Strong Hold by Sarah Castille

Zack is a very protective man when it comes to his woman, "Zack’s eyes narrow. “Did anyone check the building? The grounds? Vehicles in the parking lot? Are you sure there aren’t any more? Is Symbian putting on extra security?” Zack doesn't like sharing, and the man makes his woman speechless at times, “you should thank me for that, too,” he says, nodding at the departing car. “We’re gonna need a new set of rules while I’m coaching you to greatness. No other men.” My mouth drops open, and for a moment, I am at a loss for words." Zack is a very perceptive man,“you look angry and not very interested in taking off your clothes and welcoming me home.” I liked this book, Zack was a persistent man.

Without Promises by Delancey Stewart

Trent is an over the top type of man, "Trent wasn’t joking about the wooing. During the first week he spent at the office , he seemed to feel like buying gifts would make up for not spending actual time together." I liked this book, but I had a hard time with Trent at times, I just wished the man had grown skme balls at times and stood up for himself, it irked me. Amy I wished was a little bit more outspoken.

RELEASE REVIEW: King's Wrath by Nina Levine

The wait is finally over! The highly anticipated King's Wrath by Nina Levine is now available on all ebook retailers.

Finally meet the enigma that is King. Our love wasn't like everyone else's. There wasn't a first date or flowers and gifts. We didn't have a song or cute nicknames for each other. There were no calls during the day to check in with me, no coming home to cook me dinner, and no foot massages at the end of a long day. That wasn't how he loved. But love me he did. Madly, deeply, passionately, completely. King loved with everything he had. He just loved a little differently to most. This is King's story. From the beginning. All the ugly and all the beautiful, by the end of this duet you will come to understand the man behind the club. King's story will be told over two books - King's Wrath & King's Reign.

REVIEW:
King knows how to take the bull by the horns, the man makes things happen, “I needed to know where you lived and he could help me with that. That’s all. Now, do you wanna put some clothes on for this conversation?” Holding my towel in place, I stared at him, almost at a loss for words..." King's woman does things to him, I'm not sure how he takes it attimes, “Use it whenever you’ve got your cranky pants on too. It might work wonders.” That smart mouth of hers was a shot straight to my ***k..." I'm dying for the next book, I need to know what happens next.

REVIEW:
I liked how good-natured Emerson was, "glancing down revealed that Emerson was staring at my crotch. “Were you afraid I’d lose my way?” he asked, a playful smile on his face. It was then I remembered the arrow that had been waxed on me down there." Sometimes Emerson's sister makes him a defensive man, “excuse me!” Emerson crossed his arms. “I was about to go to her, when she showed up randomly at my campsite..." Emerson is often times struck dumb by his woman, “Wow,” he said, his eyes wide. “You look— I mean, that dress is—” He shook his head as if he needed to clear his thoughts. “Eff,” he finally settled on." I liked this book, I fell in love with Emerson.

Hot on the Trail by Vicki Tharp

I loved when Quinn would tease his woman, "he gave her his cheesiest, cockiest grin. “Hey, darlin’, I don’t know what you’ve heard, but there’s no exaggeration where little Quinn is concerned.” Quinn's woman often times surprises him, "she gripped the box of condoms and dropped it on the table in front of him. He choked mid-chew and dropped the sandwich onto the plate. He pounded a hand to his chest, swallowing hard, as if all the moisture had left his mouth. “Holy ***l,” he sputtered. “Give a guy some warning.” I liked this book, I liked Quinn.

Highlander's Portrait by C.A. Szarek

Eoin's lady is always testing his willpower, “Eoin…I…”She worried her bottom lip. “I don’t want to be alone. Can I sleep with you?”God’s blood, I’m doomed." i loved how Eoin wad when he was happy and with his lady, “we need ta go back ta tha’big modern bed, lass,”he breathed against her lips. She grinned, then broke in to a fit of giggles. “Somethin’amusin’, mò gradh?” I really liked this book.

Hot & Heavy by Tracy Wolff

With Sage, Shawn is often times left speechless, "pass. She’s going to pass. Women usually jump through hoops to get my number, and Sage is going to pass. I’m not sure I understand what’s going on here." Shawn is a cut and dry type of man, “what’s there to understand?” I give her the breeziest smile I’ve got. “I need a yoga instructor. You are a yoga instructor. I want you to train me , and you want a hundred and fifty thousand dollars to train me. It’s pretty straightforward if you ask me.” Shawn loves to see his woman satisfied, "***l, yeah, I like watching her eat what I made for her. Any sane man would." I loved this book, I loved Shawn.

Give It Up by Lee Kilraine

Beck's woman has no problem calling him out, "you heard me. That wasn’t ***, that was servicing. I want a do-over. Right now.” Beck you know, sometimes acts like a wild animal, “I want ,” I growled and hauled her in and made wild, desperate love to her." Beck just can't handle his woman's anger at times, “ouch.” He grabbed my finger in his hand. “First, stop poking me, woman. Those nails feel a lot better when you’re scratching them down my back instead of stabbing me in the chest.” I liked this book, I liked that Sam challenged Beck.

Jock Row by Sara Ney

Even when he's rude Scarlett can't resist Rowdy, “look, I hate to be rude, but can you do me a favor and leave? It’s cold and I’m freezing my balls off.” I will my eyes not to stray down the front of his jeans, to his zipper. To his balls." Rowdy has no problems blurting out what's on his mind, the man is very uncensored, “I’ve been obsessed with seeing your nipples since I realized you weren’t wearing a bra.” Rowdy is just a weird man at times, “obviously I was rooting around the other night. The contents of your fridge were a real turn-on, if I’m being honest.” Rowdy is just so romantic, “I’m going to miss these boobs tonight when I get home.” J**** C**** Rowdy has no dang patience when it comes to people interrupting his time with his woman, “didn’t you just hear us say no?” J**** C*****, I’m so irritated. Is she hard of hearing? Why won’t these effing waitresses leave us alone? We were having a goddamn *** talk!" I just can't with Rowdy, the man was just too much, “my balls want you to define the term doing it.” The romantic words that come out of Rowdy's mouth, “a smoking hot weed with a beautiful set of t**s I’d give anything to see naked right now?” I freaking loved this book, like I cannot give it enough praise.

Charmed at First Sight by Sharla Lovelace

Leo is so out of his element with Micah, “what the eff am I doing?” he asked under his breath as if it wasn’t meant to be out loud. “What the h*** is it with you?” he said, his voice gravelly. “You make me crazy.” I liked this book, I loved how Micah and Leo would push each others buttons.

Her Super-Secret Rebound Boyfriend by Kerri Carpenter

Luke often times is left flabbergasted when he puts his foot in his mouth, “let me make it easy on you then. I’ll leave so you don’t have another opportunity to hurt me.” With that, she opened the door, slid through it, closed it quickly, and fled his condo. Stunned, Luke remained outside." Lola is just amazed by her man's man-parts, “I can’t believe that, um, thing down there,” she said, casting her eyes toward his now-throbbing ****s, “is so eager already.” I liked this book, I even liked Lyke who had his head up his butt at times.

About ROME’S CHANCE: From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Joanna Wylde comes a new story in her Reapers MC series…

Rome McGuire knew he was in trouble the first time he saw her.

She was sweet and pretty and just about perfect in every way. She was also too young and innocent for the Reapers Motorcycle Club. He did the right thing, and walked away.

The second time, he couldn’t resist tasting her.

Gorgeous and smart, fun and full of wonder, she jumped on his bike and would’ve followed him anywhere. Still, she deserved a shot at happiness somewhere bigger and better than a town like Hallies Falls. Walking away wasn’t so easy that time, but her family needed her and he had a job to do.

When she came around a third time, he’d had enough. Randi Whittaker had been given two chances to escape, and now it was time for Rome to take his.

This time, the only way Randi would be leaving Hallies Falls was on the back of Rome’s bike.

REVIEW:
Randi's sixteen year old sister always looks out for Randi, “I put six condoms in your purse,” she responded thoughtfully. “Do you need more?” Rome is just so sweet and considerate, “don’t worry, babe. I may be a h***y b*****d, but I’ll take care of you first.” There are some things Rome takes very seriously, “everyone likes macaroni and cheese,” he said, the words slow and deliberate. “If you don’t like mac and cheese, you’re a effing lizard person, and I don’t sleep with lizards. Not even when I’m drunk. Do you sleep with lizards?” I gaped at him." Rome can totally compromise when he needs to, “We’ll date later,” he told me, dropping back down in front of me. “Maybe next year. Until then, I’ll be the guy effing you..." I enjoyed this book, I loved how caring Rome was.

RELEASE REVIEW: Without Apology by Aubrey Bondurant

Title: Without Apology
Series: The Without Series #1
Author: Aubrey Bondurant
Genre: Contemporary Adult Romance
Release Date: April 29, 2018

Blurb

He’s neat, always on time, and a professed workaholic. I’m messy, always running late, and looking for more from life than just my job.

Yet our mutual attraction is undeniable.

The last thing I expected after our first date was to have Simon show up at my office. The charming and funny guy I'd met was now gone, replaced by the cold and calculating man in an impeccable suit. While my professional future is now in his hands, I can’t stop thinking about how his hands would feel on my body.

Whatever had started between us can't possibly happen now, but that’s easier said than done. Because the more I try not to think of his sexy smirk or
delicious accent, the harder it is to stay away. And if our forbidden office kiss is any indication, his resolve is slipping too.

I've sworn I'd never fall for a man who puts his job first.
Too bad my heart isn't listening.

***Without Apology is for mature audiences due to steamy bedroom scenes that are in no way contained to just the bedroom.***

REVIEW:
Simon often times is struck dumb with his woman, "I realized I was in nothing but my thong and T-shirt, having kicked off the sheets entirely. “I just, uh—” His voice was thick and strained. “I was coming to ensure you were up. I’ll give you some privacy.” He turned and headed back out into the apartment." Simon likes to have talks with Peyton's dog, “I have no idea how many scoops of food you get, my friend. But two is all you’ll get from me until I can verify with your mum that you’re not using those sad eyes to get more than you should. Bollocks, I can’t stand your pathetic look like you’re starving. You can have three, but don’t tell her.” I liked this book, I really liked Simon.

Excerpt

As I unloaded my full carry basket onto the belt, I couldn’t help noticing the man in front me who was wearing a charcoal gray suit. He was attractive, but what instantly perked up my ears was his British accent. That wasn’t something one often heard in this suburban town outside of Dallas, Texas.
He was talking to the elderly cashier, who I knew as Laverne, about lacking the identification necessary to buy the bottle of champagne she was holding in her hand.
“You have my word I’m over the legal drinking age, whatever that may be here in Texas.”
Laverne adjusted her thick glasses and shook her head. “Unless you have some sort of identification proving it, honey, I can’t sell it to you.”
He searched the inside pocket of his suit. “Unfortunately, my passport is back in my hotel room. Is there any chance you could give me the bottle now, and I could return tomorrow with my ID?”
Nice try, I thought, but then realized the words had inadvertently slipped out loud. When his ice-blue eyes focused on me, my body immediately responded. Because the eyes were only part of what made up his gorgeous face, now turned in my direction.
Damn, David Gandy had nothing on his younger version, for sure. The man’s mouth turned up in a slight smile towards me before he sighed at Laverne, seemingly recognizing that her cataracts and sour expression made any use of his charms a wasted effort.
Taking pity, I stepped up. “Hey, Laverne, how about I pay for the bottle? I have my ID if you need it.”
She hesitated and then glared when Brexy, my new mingled word for British and sexy, pulled out his wallet, probably to front me the money.
“You keep your wallet and your cash where it is, honey. What you two do in private ain’t none of my business, but don’t be doing it in front of me. Rules are rules.”
Brexy and I exchanged arched brows at Laverne’s suggestive way of putting it, but he stowed his wallet and said, “Understood. I promise to, uh, finish this transaction in private.”
Now he was smirking. The expression suited his handsome features very well. I had to bite my lip to keep from laughing out loud.
“Good.”
As Laverne scanned my items, she started chatting. “Making snickerdoodles with the girls tonight?” She directed the question towards me.
“Yes. Sure am.” I noticed the man’s gaze flick over to my left hand. Subtle he was not. Then again, neither was I. “My three nieces,” I offered, feeling like an idiot for needing to clarify that point.
“You don’t need her identification, I take it?” he inquired, making room for me to slide my credit card at the terminal in front of us.
Laverne tsked “I’ve known Peyton here for nearly the twenty-nine years she’s been on this earth, so I’m quite aware of her age without needing proper identification.” She handed me the receipt after bagging everything and added, “She’s also quite single.”
And with that, she was moving on to the next customer.
I shook my head over her use of the word ‘quite’ in front of single. Because ‘single’ wasn’t enough, she had to add the word ‘quite,’ making it sound as if I couldn’t possibly be more single.
Small towns. Gotta love ‘em.

Dangerous by Minerva Spencer

Sometimes Adam's lady drives him bonkers, "he stared at her. She crossed her arms and stared back. Adam cast his eyes ceilingward. “Fine. A bargain.” I don't think Adam appreciates others seeing his wife naked, "...the door swung open and one of the housemaids entered. The girl’s jaw came unhinged and her eyes fixed on the naked backside of her mistress. He lurched to his feet. “Come back in five minutes.” The door clicked shut almost before the words left his mouth." Adam's woman knows how to tire him out, "he barely had enough energy left for a weak laugh. “You will be the death of me.” I liked this book, I loved that Adam's lady would drive him bonkers and make him question things.

Guarding His Best Friend's Sister by Taryn Quinn

Like any good man Jax likes to talk things out with his dog, “she’s probably going to eviscerate me when I tell her how I feel, Tal. But I’m a man. I can take it.” He tipped his head against his dog’s soft head and smiled at her consoling lick. “Besides, I still have her panties.” Sometimes Cass just likes to go for it, “Uh, babe, I realize you don’t have a ***k, but there’s a necessary restorative period after—oh sweet J***s.” I liked this book, I fell in love with Jax.

Lock 'N' Load by Tee O'Fallon

Matt goes all alpha when it comes to his woman's safety, “negative.” Matt shook his head, also knowing she wouldn’t like what he said next. “I don’t want you setting foot off this property.” There are times Trista can't wait and boy does she get an eye full, "he flung open the shower door to see Trista standing in his bathroom, chest heaving, her eyes bright with excitement. “Matt, I—” Her gaze dipped to his chest, then lower as she took in his nakedness. When she swallowed, he knew what she was seeing. His rock-hard erection." Matt doesn't appreciate his woman showing affection to his dog before him, "Matt let out an impatient sound, and she looked up to see him watching both her and the dog with an impatient expression. “Are you two done yet?” I liked this book.

The Forbidden Brother by Joanne Rock

There are times Cody means business, “and I can assure you, if there are, I won’t be a difficult man to reach.” Cody is like the sweetest man when it comes to his woman, “you have to let me take care of you, though. Good food. Enough rest.” He kissed her again, lingering this time until her body heated with awareness. “And if I opt to spend the day in bed with you, you have to tell me if I wear you out.” I liked this book, I fell in love with Cody.

Devoted to Pleasure by Shayla Black

There are some text messages Cutter recieves that he can't help but smile, "I’m fine. Not sure I can say the same about Tower’s balls. So Tower had tried something and Shealyn had shut him down painfully. Cutter smiled, beaming with pride." I liked that Shealyn spoke her mind, “how soon were you thinking?” She gave him a saucy smile. “Because I’ve missed you, and right now I want you inside me..." I liked this book, I didn't like that Cutter wasn't upfront the man just upset with that situation.

I Think I Love You by Lauren Layne

Hunter and Brit have a very open relationship, Brit is like an open book, even those times where I'm sure Hunter wished she wasn't:
“Um, because my eggs are rotting?” she said, waving a palm in the general area of her midsection.
Hunter winced. “Oh God. Never mind.”
Does Hunter get jealous? No, not him, not at all, “forget the da*n mock-ups,” he snapped, turning back toward her and crossing his arms. “How about you tell me what the h*** you were doing fluttering your eyelashes at Bradley effing Calloway?” I loved this book, I fell in love with Hunter.

REVIEW:
Cole is just really intrigued by his woman, “I prefer when I thought you were trying to kill me over small talk,” she snaps. I smile. Yeah, there’s something about Austin Lowes that I like. A lot." Cole is a bossy one, “you ride with me to and from school,” I tell her. “You may not be mine yet, but to everyone else, you already are.” Then I walk out, not giving her a chance to argue." Cole wears his battle scars proudly, "the hickey I gave him on his neck is very visible." Cole really knows how to work his woman, "his lips softly kiss up to my ear. “Pain turns me on, Austin.” He presses his hips into mine and he’s hard. And just like that, I melt like effing butter. Stay strong! You’re mad at him. “Want me to take you out to my car and eff you?” Man oh man did I love this book, it kept me on the edge of my seat, Cole was just so alpha and bossy you couldn't help but fall in love with him.

AUSTIN

“Why am I here?” I ask, wanting to get this over with.
Cole takes the bottle from my hand and brings it to his lips, taking a big gulp. His Adam's apple working as he swallows.
I cross my arms over my chest, trying to look unaffected. But I’m having trouble breathing.
“We’ve been thinking …” he says, rubbing his chin.
“We want you to be a part of our group,” Deke finishes his sentence.
I look among the five of them and start laughing nervously. “You’re joking, right?”
“Not one bit,” Deke says, shaking his head.
“No thanks,” I say and turn to the door. I twist the handle and start to pull it open, but a hand slaps on the door above my head, holding it shut.
I jump back to look at Cole. He leans against it casually, getting comfortable and blocking my only exit. “It wasn’t an offer, Austin.”
My eyes narrow on him. “What makes you think I want anything to do with you guys?”
“Deke,” Cole says, lifting the bottle to his lips again.
I spin around to see Deke step up to us, his phone in his hand facing Cole and me. A video plays, and it’s of me driving Cole’s car away from the warehouse after he stole the red car.
“How did you get that?” I demand.
He just chuckles, placing the phone in his pocket. “I don’t kiss and tell, baby.”
My eyes narrow on him calling me baby. I turn back to face Cole. “You’re blackmailing me. Again.”
He shrugs carelessly. “You can call it whatever you want.”
“I’m calling it what it is,” I snap. “You know damn well that I had no idea what you had planned.”
He pushes off the wall and leans down, his face inches from mine. I can smell the cinnamon on his lips and can’t help the shudder that runs through me. “I dare you to prove it.”
“You son of a—”
“In order to join,” Deke interrupts me, “you have to pass a test.” He crosses his arms over his broad chest.
“I’m not interested …”
“Initiation,” he corrects himself.
“I don’t want to be involved with whatever fucked-up shit you guys are in.” How many different ways do I have to say it?
“Let her out,” Kellan says, but no one listens to him.
Deke continues. “You have to fuck one of us while we all watch.”
My heart starts to pound at his words. And my eyes widen when he takes a step toward me.
This is a joke. It has to be.
He arches a brow in challenge when I just stand there staring at him. “You want me, baby? I’m ready.” He licks his lips as his blue eyes settle on my legs. Then he reaches down to his jeans and unbuttons them.
He’s serious! My eyes immediately shoot to Cole.
His eyes hold their usual anger as they glare down at me, but a slow, devious smile spreads across his face, and the guys start laughing. “Well, there’s your answer, man,” one of them calls out from behind me.
My jaw tightens. “I don’t want to …”
“Leave us,” Cole orders, interrupting me. And like the trained sheep they are, they all walk out. I can still hear their laughter as they walk down the hall, the door slowly shutting behind them.
I plop down on one of the lounge chairs, trying to slow my racing heart. “You can’t force my hand, Cole. Not with this.”
He walks over to where I sit. Reaching out, he runs his busted knuckles along my cheek. I swat his hand away, afraid of what will come out of my mouth if he touches me.
His hand grips my hair and yanks me to stand. I cry out as he shoves my back
against the closed door. He towers over me, pushing his body into mine. I’m panting while he holds me still. He dips his head to whisper in my ear. “Are you a virgin, Austin?”
“No,” I growl. My hands come up to push him off me, but he grabs them and pins them above my head. I whimper, and my thighs tighten.
“That’s a shame.” He sighs, and his breath skims across my skin making me shudder. “I like to take pretty, innocent things and destroy them.”
“You’re sick,” I say, panting.
He chuckles but doesn’t deny it. “But that doesn’t make you want me any less. I saw the way you stared at me in the car. The way you licked your lips when I thought about kissing you. The way you whispered my name. How you stared at me when I got out of the pool. And let’s not forget the way you allowed me to touch you last night. Tell me, were you disappointed when I didn’t throw you on the bed and fuck you right then?” I moan. “I bet you’re wet right now.”
“Cole,” I growl his name, not wanting him to see how right he is.
But he ignores my warning. “You wore red for me again, sweetheart. You wanted my attention, and you got it. Now what are you gonna do with it?”
