License to Kiss by Kate McKinley
Stephen is a man who doesn't think before he speaks, “I only meant to ask if there could be—” She advanced on him, her face drawn in fury, and did something he never expected. She punched him. Not a dainty, womanly punch , but a heavy, well-positioned strike that caught him square in the jaw." Stephen that man literally can't do anything right, "...she turned her attention to Stephen, who looked as though he would rather be anywhere but there, facing her. He stood. “Whatever you heard, Emily, you must allow me to explain...” I loved this book, Stephen's head was so far up his butt at times I don't think the man knew what was up or down. I love thisnauthor's writing style and the women of these stories aren't helpless they fight back.
