Since book one left us with that huge cliffhanger I was eager to jump back into Annie and Dylan's story. Dylan, I just have to question his wooing skills, “to take you away from here. Anywhere you want to go. I’ll stay with you and eff you day and night and I’ll leave when you tell me to. Whatever you want.” Over the course of this book you see Dylan changing, especially towards his dad and it was emotional and heartfelt, “you’re moving in with me and Annie, to my house near Asheville. The hospitals are better.” Dylan shot Ben a hard look. “Fewer rats.” I liked how this story played out and I'm glad that Annie was a persistent thing and didn't give up.
