I read this series out of order and that's totally okay because each book is based on a different couple, and out of all of them Ian is my favorite, yes he even beat Rafe who I loved dearly, but Ian had this gentlemanly charm about him that I fell in love with, "I will bed the Winthrop heiress," Ian said with a wry grin. "However, it shall be after I wed her." Angelica I loved her no matter what her attempts to throw Ian off her he always surprised her with his reactions, "I do so admire a woman with a healthy appetite," he said with a wry smile as if he were aware of her strategy." I just loved Ian I can't say how much because words wouldn't do my feelings justice, "I may not be able to impregnate you," he whispered against her neck, sending shivers down her entire body. "But I assure you, my duchess, I am perfectly capable of the act." He's so loving and protective and the boy gets mad when things don't happen for his woman, "why didn't you inform the duchess that it was time for her luncheon?" His tone promised horrible retribution if the answer was not to his satisfaction." I really loved and enjoyed this book.
