Scenes From the City by Penny Reid

I debated in my head on how I was going to write this review, so I'll just quickly explain my madness and then get on with the goods, I tried to take a quote from each 'chapter' or deleted scene in this case but some didn't really tickle my fancy but I did get some good ones for those that did.
    Scene 1: Neanderthal Seeks Honeymoon:
It was great to see Quinn and Janie, their story was definitely in my top two for this series the other of course being 'Beauty and the Beard.' Janie she hasn't changed since we left her she's still that quirky girl, "there are several positions in the guide. You can just lie there if you want," I suggested my hand drifting lower." Obviously the girl has become a little sex nymph, I mean look at Quinn that boy has stamina. Quinn he's slowly learning how to deal with his woman in times of frustration, alcohol is always the answer, "Quinn grimaced and pulled his hands through his hair. He turned away. "I'll be back with margaritas. I hope you like them frozen and strong."
Scene 2: Friends Most-Definitely With Benefits
As I would say you know your strengths and weaknesses use them and Nico sure knows how to use his strengths, "this is not fair; you're manipulating me. You're using your intense sexual prowess to overwhelm me." I groaned, untucked his shirt; I needed to feel his skin. I burned for him." Obviously I don't think Elizabeth minds. Dan that boy is something else, "I mean, sorry for saying eff. And, I guess, sorry for saying eff again - just then- when I was explaining why I was sorry for. So sorry for all the times I just said eff, including this time, while we've been standing in the hall." Nico he's so accommodating, "that's fine..." He unwound my hair from it's braid, massaged his fingers through it. "We can have angry sex later." As though to illustrate the superiority of this idea, he tugged my hair." It was also great seeing these two again.
Scene 4: Beauty and the Beard
So as I mentioned previously this was another one of my favorites from the series, and Drew I loved him always will even if his methods are a little unorthodoxed, "Drew, sounding exasperated: "Yes, it pi**es me off. Hearing your voice makes me want to do things to you. You're not here. I can't do those things." I take that back the boy is logical.
I enjoyed this book I always love it when author put out deleted scenes or extra scenes we get to see how our characters are growing, and doing.
