I enjoyed this book until it started getting to the end and then I just thought Lizzy was EVIL because of what happened, so let's just say I'm hoping the second book comes fast. Sheriff Taylor Hansen that boy is all sorts of gentlemanly, "he cleared his throat, as if uncomfortable holding me. "Can you walk, ma'am?" he asked." That boy is although a sexy as sin, "Sheriff Hansen stood in the doorway, shotgun resting against one shoulder. He was shirtless and dressed in pants that hung low on his hips." He likes to rile his girl, "even if such an amount existed, I'd rather read this, more so because you don't want me to." He sat down at his desk and propped up his boots on his desk before picking up the note from John." He also says the sweetest things, "I've never touch a woman meant to be mine," he said softly." Then ending wasn't really shocking I mean it's Lizzy which means you most likely need to prepare yourself for a damn cliffhanger.
