Nikolai sure isn't shy that boy will drop his drawers no matter who he's in front of, "you were already dead when I found you." He stepped out of his pants and froze...well, except for the part of him that obviously approved of her stare. It practically waved and shouted "Howdy!" Apparently Elena brings out these strange feelings in our boy, "maybe it was because he needed to know she valued him over this human. Certainly that wasn't it. He couldn't be jealous. He was a Slayer. Jealousy was for insecure weaklings." Also he doesn't take kindly to those who hurt what's his, "Nikolai wanted to kill the ba*****, but kicking the s*** out of him would just have to do for now." I loved this book Nikolai made this book great for me.
