Who would have thought that a almost car accident would bring yummy touches from Mr. Hottie, "straightening, I gaze into his eyes, cheeks scalding, heart racing again. It takes enormous willpower not to squeeze his thigh to test exactly how firm it is. "No problem," he replies, "it was an accident." He lifts my hand off his leg. "But if you don't mind, you can have this back." I think Alex forgets his cold exterior when he's with Charley, "my kind of woman," he murmurs appreciatively before looking horrified at his comment. "I mean, I like the way you think. I mean - never mind." The boy is a demanding one, "Charley, open up." Alex. His is the last face I want to see. "I'll stand here for as long as it takes," he says flatly, banging the door again." Alex sure knows how to pi** a woman off, "so anyone half presentable, up for it, and within reach would have done." As much as I don't want it to, my voice trembles. "Thanks very much." I spin away. I'm just going to grab something from my room. I'll see you down there." I march across the room, movements stiff and jerky." Alex in the end doesn't mind stating what he wants, "I'd like there to be two important people. And to be clear, you're the other one." I really enjoyed reading this book.
