A whole lotta romance with a little bit of mystery, made this book an easy read and I fell in love with Lucas. He surprised me I thought he would be an a**, and a total player but he wasn't he was a caring guy, "well, he doesn't have a collar, and he's so skinny. I doubt he's eaten for a while. Seems like he's your cat now." He grinned at me like this was my lucky day." Katie gets herself into some funny situations:
I sighed. "Lucas Matthews is a hottie," I said, and pulled open the front door. "There, are you happy now?"
"I know I am," said a familiar voice fro out in the hall. My stomach dropped as I heard Em let out a high-pitched squeak and I turned slowly to face the doorway. Hottie Lucas Matthews was standing at my front door."
Lucas they way he acts it's so suave, "can you ask your sister to stop threatening to cut off my balls if I don't treat you right?" He's so sweet, and full of surprises, "I knew I should have blindfolded you," he answered. "We're almost there, so don't get your panties in a bunch. Or, actually, whatever you want to do with your panties is fine with me." He grinned widely over his shoulder at me." Katie has a few surprises for Lucas on her own, "then I moved in close, my lips just next to his ear. "Did you really think I was going to let you go after you made me scream in the shower this morning?" I breathed, feeling his body tense. "I plan on spending the summer making you scream, too, over and over and over..." I let my hand trail down the front of his shirt."
