Barely Undercover by Sarah Castille

This is the second book by Sarah that I've read and I'm not disappointed, I really loved James and Roxie/Lana's reunion, "Roxie." His sharp tone snapped her out of her reverie, but not as much as his warm hand clasping her own. "What the eff are you doing here, dressed like that? I almost didn't recognize you." He's real protective of her whether it's for the benefit of the club or to actually keep her safe, "my old lady wears what I tell her to wear," James said, his voice low and even. He turned to face Rex, his body in front of Lana like shield. "She does what I tell her to do. She goes where I tell her to go. I thought we sorted this out last night." Jamie she's a good friend, "so you're the hot undercover cop. I've heard a lot about you. Mostly bad things. I'm afraid as Lana's best friend I have a duty to hate you vicariously for breaking her heart, which is a shame because you're kind of cute, and the whole kicking down the door thing..." Lana knows how to get her way with James, "James's scowl deepened. The thought of other men watching her, touching her, set his blood to boil. A low growl escaped him and Lana's lips curled into a smile. "Does that mean I'm coming with you?" He gets jealous, "Then I'll deal with him. My girl's not working in an office with that effing di** on legs." And he gets turned on at the weirdest of times, "James Hunter. I can't believe you. We are not having sex in the forest while we're being hunted by men with guns. Who gets turned on in life-threatening situations?" Oh yeah I loved this book.
